OPEN DISTRICT HUB e.V
The Open District Hub e.V. is a non-profit organization that is committed to the success of the energy transition and the development of climate-neutral cities and regions. The key lies in the districts. Compared to individual buildings, the CO2 savings in districts have valuable synergy effects, for example in the local generation of renewable energies and the coupling of the electricity, heat and mobility sectors. For this, we connect relevant players from business and science. We see ourselves as networkers and catalysts. Together with our member organizations, we look for innovative solutions for sector coupling in the district, test them in joint research projects and discuss business models that arise in this context. More than 40 well-known companies from the fields of energy, real estate, district development and building automation as well as from research, consulting and associations are organized in the Open District Hub e.V.
